Mid market rent

This type of rented property might suit you if are working but can't afford market rent. Rents are set at a level between market rents and those set by councils and housing associations. You need to earn a minimum of £1000 a month and earn no more than £39,000 in a year. Touchstone ask for a security deposit which is equivalent to one month's rent plus £100. So if the rent is £500 the deposit is £600. This is held by an independent tenancy deposit scheme until the tenancy ends.

Market rent

Market rents would suit you if you are in work and earning at least £1500 each month. Touchstone ask for a security deposit which is equivalent to one month's rent plus £100. So if the rent is £500 the deposit is £600. This is held by an independent tenancy deposit scheme until the tenancy ends. Properties come with floor coverings, curtains or blinds, kitchen appliances and electric showers.
