Older Persons Forum

Made up of reps from sheltered and amenity developments across Edinburgh and East and West Lothian, the Forum meets four times a year to discuss important issues and provide information and create an environment that increases a positive lifestyle for older people.

Castle Rockers Podcasts

We have been working with tenants from our older person service on a project to produce podcasts on topics that interest them and thier neighbours.
The "Castle Rockers" are a group of older Castle Rock Edinvar tenants who have started podcasting on topics that interest them. Listen in to their first episode on Scams and how to stay safe.

For tenants interested in communication and to help us deliver customer focused publications and help ensure that information for tenants is relevant, effective and easy to follow.

Tenants and residents associations

These are local groups that reflect the interests of people who live close to each other. They hold regular meetings to share views, discuss common concerns and find solutions to problems. Ask your housing officer if your area has an association already. If it doesn't, we can help you to set one up.

Community membership

Have your say by applying to be one of our active community members. You'll be invited to attend our board's Annual General Meeting, where you can raise any issues and question the Chair.
